Whether painted or stitched the result is a quickly marked, incredibly accurate guide to result in exactly what you are wanting. To use paint with the stencil, we recommend using a foam stencil brush and rinse out the stencil with water after each use (each repeat if you’re needing to use it more than once on your project)  to prevent the paint from drying and clogging up the holes. You can place the stencil in a tray of water and rinse it later if necessary. Dry it with a hair dryer or just air dry it in a hanging position or on a towel.
