This stencil is specifically designed to be painted!  It’s certainly not limited to that though, it is a great design for a quilt block too – quilted or appliquéd. The two sizes are approx. 5 ½” square and 4 ½” square. To use paint with the stencil, we recommend using a foam stencil brush and rinse out the stencil with water after each use (each repeat if you’re needing to use it more than once on your project)  to prevent the paint from drying and clogging up the holes. You can place the stencil in a tray of water and rinse it later if necessary. Dry it with a hair dryer (low setting) or just air dry it in a hanging position or on a towel.
