This stencil is very easy to follow and of course since it's leaves and no two leaves are exactly the same it doesn't put a lot of pressure on quilters who might be just starting out. It fills in a 4" border beautifully. It also can be taken a step further with paint- paint in the leaves with any fabric paint or ink* and then add even more dimension with more thread once the paint dries! It all starts with the stencil and your pounce pad, the possibilities are endless.
* any fabric paint will work with our stencils, just rinse them out immediately and hang dry or use a hair dryer if you need to use it again soon, we recommend rinsing the paint off for each repeat. Ink allows more time to rinse than paint which can sometimes begin to dry very quickly depending on the different variables you might be working under such as heat and dryness in the air.
Actual width is 3 1/4"

Even the best traditions need an update. That’s why we’ve reinvented stencils for quilting. These unique stencils are transferred with a Quilt Pounce Pad™, and because the material is a nylon mesh open only on the design lines, the powder goes right through to the quilt top! There are no breaks or bridges to fill in, no mess, and it’s easy, fun, and effortless to transfer beautiful designs onto your quilt tops. With a few swipes of the Chalk-filled Quilt Pounce™, you’re ready to accent the beauty of your quilt by stitching over a crisp, crystal-clear motif, border, or continuous line. Full Line Stencils™ are the choice of quality and value. Perfect for beginners to the pros who thought they had everything.
Full Line Stencils™ require very little care. They are tough and can be transferred countless times. If they begin to get a little “dusty” from the chalk, use a damp cloth to clean them. A dry Microfiber towel also works well. If you’re using the Ultimate Pounce Powder, you can even iron them to clean them up! Be sure to clean them if switching chalk colors. You don’t want to heat set the blue when you’re ironing off the white.
What’s the best way to store Full Line Stencils? Store flat or roll. However, our standard size and smaller stencils slip into inexpensive sheet protectors and can be kept in a binder. Pants hangers work great, too; hang the hanger on a nail on the wall to keep them out of your way yet still within easy reach.
Full Line Stencils™ all work the same. There is no right or wrong side; you just position them, swipe the Pounce pad over the top, lift them off, and sew!
